Be in Multiple Sqauds
« on: February 23, 2015, 11:35:25 AM »
I can't think of any good reason why someone can't be in more than one squad  :headscratch: .

I kind of just wanted to start a discussion on the matter. Thoughts?

You mean at the same time. Do you think that would affect the competitive nature of squad rankings?

Yes I do mean at the same time*

Perhaps there would be a way to set one squad as your primary which counts towards that squads score and ranking.

You could open an account for each squad you want to be in, then score wouldn't be an issue.

As in separate paid accounts? I would like the idea of separate accounts under the same subscription, but I'm sure a feature like that would be abuse-able in many ways. It would certainly help me keep tabs on my actually in game score (I share my account with my 2 brothers)

Don't really see a reason to be in multiple squads, nor a way how to do that.

You join the squad you want to play with, and if there are others you want to play with you can fly with them while still being in the first squad.

Sort of like Guilds in MMORPGs, you can't be in multiple Guilds or "clans", but  you can still play with everyone else outside of your Guild/Clan.
If we have something to show we will & do post shots, if we have nothing new to show we don't.

I can see why you and your brothers might want to fly in different squads but if you have more than one PC to play on you'd benefit from the ability to train together and fight each other or train each other and fight together with two or three accounts.

We only have one computer between the 3 of us that can run the game(4 year old atom processors don't cut it lol) so it never really made sense to pay for multiple accounts if we could only play one at a time. I'm actaully in the process of putting something Higher end together for myself and giving my laptop to them, but they'll still have to share an account, and I'm not really sure if the Celeron laptop is up to the task of running the new update.

I know Hitech allows players to use he same account at the same time, just not in the same arenas at the same time.

Remind me what happens to the squad rankings when players leave and join various squads during a tour?

This is the most stupidest thing glzz. Its just retarded to be in 2 MA squads, doesnt make sence. I know you can be in 2 different squads. One for the MA and one for the FSO/Special Events.

It's not stupid if you want to be recognized for flying with more than one squad.  :old:
