I lost my "down low surrounded by red airplanes" location!  :cry

It was really handy in letting people know where to find me if they ever wanted a fight.  :)

Keep it simple, Stupid.

Enhance it only as far as it doesn't cause major work when it needs to be upgraded or replaced.

It's a BBS, not a bloody shrine.

With respect.

I wouldn't mind the return of that one feature where I would click on a topic with a new post, and it would automatically take me to said new post.  Maybe I'm missing something in the profile settings? :headscratch:

You have to click on the "new" icon for it to take you to the next post you have not read.

Could the HOME link at the top of the page return to taking you to the AH home page? that was really convenient when I want to check my plane stats.

Dammit ROC, I looked!   :x

That will make its return, in a slightly different manner.  Maybe. :)

That was a mod to the previous version.  I have it on the list to see if this new version has a similar mod.

Can we get back 100 answers/topics per page? This new version only allows 50 max.

It's nice to not have so many pages per topic.

There is one slightly annoying thing I have found with the new BBS:
When I create a post with images embedded in it the images themselves now appear inside the "Post Reply" box. Previously you would just see the image text address in between  "img" codes and you had to hit "preview" to see the message with images. Personally I found it easier to edit forum messages the old way, having large images in the text box is awkward.

I am not happy with the change but will be patient.

Seems like when I click on a thread with imbedded pictures it shrinks the text to fit the photo, so now, instead of zooming to see the photo like before, I have to zoom to read the text.   Not sure that was what you intended, but.....

As with anything, we will adapt.  At least it is up and running again. :)

These are modifications (SMF mods) to the previous board.  I still have to look for those mods, or something close to them.  Right now the priority has been to get the style set, then go after the mods.

Just want to say thanks to you at HTC for giving a damn about our experience with the game and the BBS.

The background colors have change somewhat.  Looks sharper.  I like the changes.
