PBS' show "Nature" on The Owl
« on: February 19, 2015, 08:42:16 PM »
I know little about owls.  They seem ungainly -- body to wing ratio -- yet magnificent in flight.  That's just the beginning.  They have "secret" weapons.

Hope some enjoy.  Watch it with the kids:

This just SO good!  About 25 mins in there's a disquisition on "flight" followed by a comparison of 3 birds.

Also, the owlets remind me of all the noobs in AH including myself.  Hope someone enjoys this as much as I am.

Unless there are owls on Pluto, I think you posted the wrong link...
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.

the almost incomplete and not entirely inaccurate guide to the AH Mosquito.

I love owls too….as long as their properly cooked.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!
