Well, I decided to do another list of AC I would like to be added, regardless if they would be hanger queens or not, or if they are a "good" add or not.  The AC that I will list should fall under HiTech's requirement of "having to at least seen combat.".

So we'll start with the country you shouldn't be surprised to be listed first:

USA

Pacific:

Fighter: Separate the F4F-3/4 Hybrid we have, and make them a separate AC.

Technically, this could be considered adding a fighter.  The difference between the two is enough to warrant this.  The -4 has worse climb and has the same amount of ammo that the -3 has, only spread across two more guns.  In addition, the service ceiling in the -3 is higher than the -4.

Bomber: TBD Devastator

I would love to see the TBD added, if only for more accurate Coral Sea and Battle of Midway FSO/Scenario/Shapshots.


Europe:

Fighter: P-38H

Not many fighters left to add here.  The H model seemed to be the best pick over the F.

Bomber: B-17F

Not much to be said here.  A little faster, with worse coverage overall.  But a damn sexy bomber.


UK

Pacific:

Fighter: Beaufighter

Wiki classes it as a Heavy Fighter.   The only problem I have is WHICH variant would be best to add.

Bomber: Beaufort

This AC quite a bit in this theater by the RAAF, I believe it would add to FSO/Scenario/Snapshots.

Europe:

Fighter: Gladiator

This AC was used quite a bit against Italy.  It would bring is one step closer to a Winter War setup as well.

Bomber: Hampden

What can I say?  I just like the way this bomber looks.   Also, twin tail.


USSR

Fighters:

I-15

Another AC that would bring us one step closer to a Winter War setup.

MiG-3

Isn't it about time a MiG made an appearance?

Bombers:

Tupolev SB

109 G-14/AS

I like the G-14, but hate it when I have to go up high.  That is why I want the G-14/AS.

Fw-190 A-2

This would add a 190 that won't cost you an arm, leg and first born to fly in EW.  It may open up more options for FSO/Scenario/Snapshots as well.

Bombers:

Do-17

I have a thing for twin tail bombers.   And some of you thought our last BoB Scenario was awesome, with 88's and 111's flying together?  Wait until the Do-17 joins in on that fun!

Do-217

Did I mention I have a thing for twin tail bombers?


Japan

Fighters:

Ki-45

Isn't it about time we were able to use the REAL thing, instead of substituting it with the 110?

A6M2-N

I think even token fighter defense at a port is better than NOTHING.

Bombers:

G3M Nell

Yeah.  My thing for twin tail bombers...

B6N Jill

While the D3A we have may be EW, even in LW setups it at least has some guns to do SOMETHING.  The B5N isn't so lucky.  So in comes the B6N.


Italy

Fighters:

CR.42

The match for the Gladiator.  We can't have the Gladiator without the CR.42.

Bombers:

This is an obvious choice.

There you have it.  Those are AC I want added that meet HiTech's requirement.   I listed quite a few that could work for the Winter War.  And if you haven't noticed, I was leaning towards a Winter War setup up when making my choices.   Also, TWIN TAIL BOMBERS!

IMO, plane gaps need to be added before any versions of existing aircraft.

It was hardly "uber" by any stretch of the imagination.  It suffered throughout its operational service being overweight and underpowered and some later versions (in attempts to lessen the weight) were under gunned.  It was also a dog to fly, early versions of the LaGG-3, the pilot ran into a serious risk of getting into a nasty spin if they pulled on the stick too hard, making sharp maneuvers difficult to perform.

But you missed the part where I said I don't care about gaps.   I just worded it poorly.  What I meant by, "if they are a "good" add or not.", was aimed towards gap filling.   I am fully aware that there are other AC that would fit more for the MA over what I have listed.
