Twitter is not just an advertisement platform, its also a communication tool to reach people directly. It is a soapbox for anyone who wants to push his agenda. Its also a double edged sword, you can create a positive buzz about the game, and also get some flak from your customers.
Considering HTC's tradition of silence and the average interest in twitter within the community, I doubt it is going to do any good if they keep ignoring player feedback. Time will tell, but right now Aces high has 59 followers.
