Flame on...  Sweet bejeebus, that got out of control.  Anyways, while I do like the idea of adding more aircraft to the game, this one has no place.  Plenty of other aircraft should be added before the Bloch 4 engine.  -1 But good find, for what it is worth.

And that is how one disagrees.

You don't do very well when not preaching to a choir that agrees with you.

Believe it or not the others "get it" as well. They are trying to educate you on the rules of the "wish list". Requesting a plane or GV that was NOT in battle, or squadron force DURING WWII automatically makes it a big fat NO. It doesn't matter how much you would like it it will NEVER be added to the game, these are HTC's rules.

As for other things like the B25 on CVs, that was a one off in the war. It never happened a second time. It was never a tactic used in multiple situations for any other plans other than the one time. So saying, it has no relevance in the game as a tactic and so won't be added in the main arenas. It may pop up as an option in a custom arena, or a scenario situation based on that single time in the war, but not for the Mains.

Changing anything in the game requires you looking at the "idea" from ALL sides. That is what most of these clowns do when they are shooting down yours and others ideas on the boards. They are pointing out the sides you DIDN'T see the idea from and so explain why it won't work or it couldn't be added.

So don't bother wishing for things that were NOT used in force during the war. Do your research. Don't wish for changes in the game that have negative effects, again, do your research. Well thought out ideas generate discussions, not so well thought out ones create attacks much like we see here. Just food for thought.

The only rules of the wishlist I know of are stickied at the top of this forum. :)

You ask what we want of you? We want you to follow conventions.

I gather that these "rules" for the wishlist are rather more de facto rather than de jure. But even so, you must think about what the place would look like if everyone posted as you did. Everything of value and worth discussion would be buried amongst the piles of inane crap that would inevitably spring up.

You may see no problem, afterall it's just you doing it. But why should you take licence not afforded to everyone?

That being the case, I have become more philosophical. Yes, I used to pull out the sarcastic slap-o-matic every time someone suggested Nazi moon bases or something that was once drawn on paper and submitted but not built or used in combat. It came to me as an epiphany. There's no threat. It's not going to get into the game. If HT reads the wish he's going to laugh then go on with something worthwhile. The OP that suggested it will either get it over time or not. Nod and smile boys, nod and smile.  :)

They generally are, with most of the community split down various lines of what's worthwhile, practical or even desirable.  ;)

What the hell do you people want from me?

All I have done is put things in the wishlist that I would like to see in the game. Why is the wishlist here? Oh, so people can make wishes for things they want in the game...
I believe Skuzzy says to not say a thing if its not to contribute to the topic. And what do you do? You spam ALL of my posts with criticism of ME, not even the post half the time.

Its not that we disagree with you, most are stating the facts - the Bloch MB 162 never entered production; like the do-335 (as an example) it was only a prototype fighter that may/may not of seen combat. The simple fact it didn't serve in combat numbers or in combat period; its been said it will never be added in game. The problem I see with "Wishing" for planes that were prototype, is the fact that none have seen combat, most prototypes are nothing compared to the final product.
Also it would open a door of hundreds of requests for "prototypes" let alone "equipment" that also didn't see combat action.

While it is a nice wish, it would be nice to see the french with an actual combat bomber for example the Bloch MB.210.

I think it took a brave pilot to fly something like that into battle.   Braver still is the poor bloke in the nose.

The OP is young, new to the game and culture and excited to be part of it. I'm glad.

THIS was the biggest lesson I learned on the forums. . . this far :devil

If you think you have a great idea and want to share with the community, keep in mind;

1. The idea has probably been brought up in the previous 10 years and already discussed in one form or another.
2. You need to thoroughly and objectively review the pros AND cons to all parties involved (will that new bomber be a hanger queen? what will the ENY be? what kind of resources will this update/change require?
3. What will your idea impact?
5. Can it be exploited?
6. Is this a personal wish, or does it truly add to the game overall

... Even though I've been smacked down a few times for my wishlist items, it's better to have the old sticks say, we've looked at that already and dismissed it than not attempting to grow the game.

Don't let the poo-poo'ers get you down.  :furious  Keep making suggestions, but keep in mind that the game has been around for along time and the community is very dedicated. A little research into the wishlist forum history has kept me from posting a few things previously discussed.

Very cool bomber... must have been originally designed to drop cheese and wine.  :devil
