Let me share a story with you:
I hail from the piney Arkansas south,
Where two oak-lined rivers come to a mouth.
A festival was held for all around,
But not a blooming daffodil was found.
The pedals were bare, green grass we did lack,
For smooth white did rise to a squirrel's butt crack.
The End.
Seriously, 6-8" of ice/snow during the last week of February followed by another round of 3" ice/snow for the first week of March. Just to sum up our year, November was unusually cold - then December was unusually warm. January was pretty average, but February we froze our tails off with the cold and moisture hitting right for winter weather. Had one bout with freezing rain causing minor damage to our pine plantations, but we faired allright.
