I've been putting some thought into the war win system. It seems like the territory-capture system really allows players to find the easiest way to take territory with the least possible resistance because it's all the same. This means people try to sneak bases, avoid combat, and generally serves to make low-numbers action a bit of an oxymoron.
I propose we alter the system to have a more limited number of objective bases, some being worth points than others, and a total point system for war win.
This would focus and concentrate action to a smaller area, while still allowing other bases to serve a purpose, namely support, and facilitating a practical offensive against the objective bases.
Also, we seem to be lacking in axis midwar bombers, and allied medium bombers.
I think the He 177, the Do 217, the H8K, the A26, and the Wellington X would be good additions.
