I realize my question might sound bad ... what is the difference? Im sure there's a million of little things but I can't see anything obvious. :embarrassed:

The shadow across the gauges and the definition in general.  I think it is a substantial improvement

Skuzzy,

Have you noticed a notable need for increased graphics performance to run at the level shown in the above screenies?

While Im sure that is the number one question on most peoples mind, I don't think we will get a strait answer until they are ready to release the beta. Even then it may still get some tweaking so the answer may change again.

This waiting sure does suck!

Took me a while to get what you were referring to. never noticed it during the 5 years I used the C as my main ride.
At first I thought you used a plum bob to see if you were sober enough to fly, but I reserve that for Duces. Sadly I forget to do that test when I need it most :bhead

Slash the top one is the current Huricane and teh bottom is with the AH3 settings..
LawnDart

We are wanting to know of the top shot is with Current Aces High set to maximum graphics or not.  The bottom one Skuzzy wouldn't be able to tell us as it is still in Alpha, and those maximum settings (if it's set for current alpha) will still be the same or not come release.

Take this as a hint: Unlike some other game developers HTC never has been known to code for the current highest end rigs and beyond.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Here for reference. AH2 HurriIIc cockpit with everything maxed. My video card has 1024 ram and I can sit on the runway enjoying how pretty this is. At an FPS of 21, at least it looks good for posting screen shots. I used the default gamma of 1.0. Bit dark isn't it.....

That's the goal, but can't be guaranteed to be the end result. So you guys will just have to wait til it's done. :neener:

Pretty sure you mean that's the AH Alpha, because that's the Alpha's default gunsight.

No, it's default for current AH as well.  I know because the gun sight I use on the 87 G-2 hasn't been changed from when we got it.  I haven't changed it simply because I don't know which gun sight I need to change it too. lol   :o

It's an AH2 screen capture with everything turned on and one of my own gunsights.
