Tramp steamers
« on: March 26, 2015, 11:35:05 AM »
I think it would be cool to have tramp steamers plying routes between a country's ports.   (And I'd like the ports to look more like actual cities, too - for added realism in the terrains).

Hunting freighters would be another unique type of thing to do in the game, different from furballing and base capture, but could still contribute to your country's war effort if you find and sink freighters.    And it would give us a reason for to have the PBY, Fw.200 Condor and an Emily, too.

EDIT: I think the steamer's AI captain should be smart enough to out-maneuver attacks from high altitude level bombers, too.

LOL bailey.  Good lord!  Does your wife know you have that book!   As an aside, John Dexter just became a new hero.   Looks pretty enticing but I definitely do not trust the one with the piece!

Hey man, redheads are insane.

Oh, and +100 for the boats.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
