When you see your HQ flashing with no bardar anywhere near get all your squaddies, up IL2s and go have a turkey shoot....especially if they're in LVTs.

From the initial post:

all the way to Bish HQ without flashing it

Besides, in almost all cases a flashing HQ without darbar means NOE Lancasters... but then, on SFMA (the map in question) not even a Me 163 will be fast enough at HQ before it goes down.
On that map, the only way to protect the HQ from this would be a constant cap over it...

a great mission for sure , but in that 15 hours how many calls for help did you guys miss or how many bases did we lose ,or how many bases we could of taken with a bit more help.
so as epic a mission as it was for the 49ers it was not so great for the TEAM rooks. so as you gloat here in the bbs about your selfish squad tactics your getting laughed at by the bishops and knights for that 15 hours they did not get shot at by your squad. :frown:

My definiteness of purpose is to wage cartoon war. Is the starting point of all achievement when you complain on the forum from us doing so? While using all of the tools provided to us?

Pork and auger... That is a different thread.

We level bombed the city the other day as a squad, and it didn't go well for us. I don't think anyone made it home, and there was negligible damage done. However, no one whined on the forum about our tactics.

Then, some drove a tank to 3 different strats and zeroed them all. I managed 5 kills then landed them. People whined on the forum about that raid. This tells me it was a good tactic. You get flak when you are over the target right?

I am glad I give you people some thing to bicker about on the forum. More posts mean closer to the coveted radioactive posting rank. I hear that is better than stars by your name.

It appears some on the forums might be the types that argue about dress colors on Facebook too.

You got flanked, due to the use of superior tactics. We didn't hack any code or game the game. Just drove somewhere and blew some stuff up, with the tools provided to us in the hanger. It took true cooperation, coordination and patience, then some luck and skill. Plus I love the controversy this has caused in a combat sim, when we used all the combat tools provided.

49ers rock!

You did "game the game" as there is no reasonable defense for this tactic, or anything having to do with HQ. Short of having guys cap HQ 24/7 there is no way this can be stopped. On top of it a single player can bomb the HQ and get the same result your 2 day drive through the country side did.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be able to do a two day drive if you want but there should be some way to defend it either with a warning system that shows up giving you enough time to drop what your doing and get there to maybe do something about it. The same goes for the yahoos who fly in NOE, drop the HQ and then bail.

Fugitive I know it just doesn't make much sense does it, but being the major importance of headquarters which is tied into airfield and vehicle base radars I for the life of me cannot understand how come there's no radar around the headquarters one would figure something so important as the country's headquarters would be well defended and have radar.

Hell, if it were a real war, there would be flak belts tens of miles deep surrounding HQ, and the enemy would have eyes on you the entire time near enough.

Idiots claiming that it's a war have no idea what they're talking about. The game has been significantly simplified and made much easier so that people can have fun throughout their play session, not just upon smashing those evildoers on the other chess piece.

You mean....ten paratroopers didn't capture enemy airfields in the real war...?

I will answer that.....

on a saturday night there are around 100 players on county most of the day half that at night. close to same Sunday. 6 guys left saturday 4 gave up after 5 hours.

2 kept pushing and made it. 2 out of 100 wont make a difference.

I took or helped take (wf/deack with 1 set of lancs that lead to a take) a total of 17 bases durig that time alone. Bish still ended up hording tuesday morning and rolled the map.

I get what your saying but it simply does not apply here in this situation. it all looks and sounds good on paper but in reality you need to take that argument to all the players who furball and could care less about winning a war.  :salute

so do you think if the top 12 guys in fighters decided to suppress all the fields along the rook front for a couple hours by not letting anyone lift of it would still be great fun? It is there 15 "potatoes" and if they want to stop everyone else from playing on that front its ok right?

Sure..would be great..
Throw some diversity in ..
Up a field back..come in with alt..
Major ground offensive ..
What ever the opposition throw at you ..counter
Use of brain is a good thing
...rinse and repeat creates a boring game anyway..

Took artillery to HQ... Killed it. Don't see that as gaming the game. Had fun zeroing out three strats last night with two guys too. The tears fuel my T34 now.
