Most I can recall was in the FM2 and around 28perks. I think 5 kills...

Just got this one a week or so ago.  Pretty sure it's the most fighter perks for me in one sortie.  Not too shabby for four kills:

Nice.  Especially with that multiplier.  Why short clip though?  Especially bomber hunting.  After the first set, you're almost down to the short clip loadout. :D

You see the multiplier at the time of landing in that screenshot. When I took off, it was about 1.45 or so. And that's the one being used for the entire sortie.

The short clip is usually enough for 2 sets of bombers. With the rather limited amount of fuel in the D-11, I'm very likely to run out of fuel before I would run out of ammo with a large clip.
With that in mind, I take the short one to lessen my planes weight a bit (~500lbs) in case I have to tangle with any fighters (heaven forbid!)

Ah.  Still, nice run.

Reasonable.  That plane spoiled me so badly.  I'd start thinking it was time to RTB winchester when the counters dipped below 500 per bank. ;)
