I'm just surprised nobody has spelled aluminum wrong yet.

They probably did...

Thank the almighty spell-checker...

Inhaling aluminum particulates can lead to all kinds of brain disorders as well as a much shortened life.  Not something to mess with.

A true limey would've spelled it aluminium.

For shame.

We had a massive Alcan factory in our town.

It was set up during the war :old:

Which Britain won :)

Oh yea, forgot to mention...

The flames on the stove turned Neon Green after about a minute. While it was really, really cool, it was also scary because ive never seen flames do that before. Looked like some weird magical flames or something  :D

98% Copper, .5% Tin, 1.5% Zinc is the composition of a 1964 Canadian penny :D

If the flames from the stove are turning green I imagine that's due to the flame reacting with gasses emmited from the metals you are melting.  I really hope you are not inhaling this stuff.  Some of it is probably harmless, but some totally isn't.
