Using WG Rockets
« on: April 10, 2015, 06:10:18 AM »
Does anyone have much luck with them? I did a search and only found some old threads, most of which end up discussing how to use HVARS in a2a.

Here is a thread that describes some techniques on their use http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,369135.0.html

Short answer: Creep up on a bomber formation, put the lead bomber on the top of the dashboard (sitting in the default position), and when the distance counter goes from 1.5 to 1.0 fire...

The fly about 1.2 K before they explode on their own, but they also have an impact fuse so if you hit something, it goes boom.

They fly a certain time before they blow up so closing speed does seem to have an affect on them.

I normally fire when the icon switches to 1k  but before 1000 but HO, I believe I fired the one below near d2.5

Nice shot. Look like a wingman formation right as they began their drop. Talk about good/bad timing! Thats the stuff posters are made out of.
