Altitude loss

 :airplane: Ok, here is another question: which will show that the aircraft is climbing or descending first:

The airspeed indicator

the vertical speed indicator

The altimeter

The directional gyo

Altimeter would be my guess, or perhaps the gyro. The VSI has lag as a result of its function. Airspeed is not necessarily affected by altitude loss.

:airplane: No the vertical speed indicator is a "trend" instrument, should never be use as a primary instrument at any time!m the correct answer is the altimeter, which will show the first loss or gain of altitude.

:airplane: Altimeter is the correct answer as far as "raw" data instruments. Of course the radar altimeter would also show first loss or gain of altitude.
