I have very high expectations for this game, I loved Battlefront 1 and 2. I REALLY hope Dice and especially EA don't drop the ball on this. They already delayed it a full year, so they better have worked out all kinks so its doesnt become like the current Battlefield games.

I'm seeing a lot of internet hate for this game (No real campaign, no Galactic Conquest, only releasing with 8 maps...) and it sucks, because a lot of people out there would buy this because they're gamers, and thus are already planning to pass this up. As a Star Wars nerd, no matter how bad it is, I HAVE to buy it :( I miss Battlefront II...

EA and Disney are going to use the DLC to bridge the story gap between Return of the Jedi and the new movie.

It will be released on the PC and current gen platforms (PS4/Xbox 1).

I didn't have a chance to read the article, I did watch the trailer to look for the end...and it only showed PS4, when they normally show in a corner what other consoles they are coming on. :aok

Knowing EA's track record, it won't be. I'm calling it right now, day 1 release the game is going to be a buggy mess and completely unplayable. I bet it'll be like everything else they do, a 50% complete game and the other 50% will be in a bunch of DLC's that'll cost you your car, your house, and your life to purchase.

EA better do a good job on this, all the other Battlefronts were great games.

Then again, I had high hopes for BF4 and it turned out to be a buggy mess that has never really been fixed up and polished.

I can only hope for the best.
