The big lie at the very end of ARGO was garbage. They released the hostages because they knew terror from above was coming.

I haven't touched upon the Spanish, German, Mexican, Chinese, French, or Italian influences yet. Should I?

It is family history for me, and I am not responsible for what my ancestors did - so I see no reason to seek to hide it as Ben did.   Way back in our family is the Captain of a cutter in the US Revenue Service (which eventually became the Coast Guard).  He did a number of operations down on the Florida coast supporting US troops against "hostile Indians" (the Seminoles) in the 1830s and 40s.  Funny thing is that my father and I both are named after him.
