There are over 30 billion metric tonnes of carbon emissions into our atmosphere every year. That is 100 more than that of volcanic emissions yearly, there is simply no way it is not us, we've been producing massive amounts of pollution since the Industrial Revolution. And yes population increase would most definitely contribute to more emissions. As we grow in population we have demands for more energy, more materials. It's the same as it has been since our existence, more people more food, shelter, water, then money, territory, everything. So as we grow now so does everything with us.

With the massive amounts of CO2 we produce, saying global warming isn't the truth is comparable to saying we don't omit any greenhouse gases at all.

Hyperbole

Please cite a credible reference.  If humans are causing climate change due to their CO2 emissions, let me ask you this - what is the biggest producer of CO2 - by far?

I'll save you the digging.  It's the oceans.  Which BTW, have been around a long, long, long time.

This graph tells pretty much about Co2 levels in the atmosphere:

Yes exactly. Earth has gone through and through cycles of warm and cool periods, we've ended up in a warm period but we've obviously changed the cycle by increasing the temps.

That's a typical lefty worldview mate.  We 'obviously' have changed the cycle - it must be?  What other conclusion can we arrive at?

That information is from the U.S Energy Information Administration.

Yes it is the oceans alongside with other natural sources which in turn dwarfs ours, but our emissions upset the equilibrium, it's the reason why our climate cycle has gone to a higher temperature on average compared to the last hundreds of thousands of years.

The amount of carbon emissions by our planet is 750 million tonnes, and it has been balanced for millions upon millions of years, now, you add that extra 30 million from us, that is more than enough to disrupt the balance.

How do you explain the ice caps on Mars melting without any human industry there?

A single volcano eruption could wipe out most of the the entire planets population... silly carbon in the atmosphere... :)

Mars has a atmosphere extremely thinner than our planet, therefore it has less protection against the sun's raw power and it just beams down on the planet constantly. Not only is it thinner but then it has a higher carbon percentage.

the ocean doesn't 'contribute carbon to the atmosphere', the atmosphere and the ocean exchange carbon. there's an equilibrium between the two. where do you think the ocean would be getting all of this carbon dioxide from? i once had a guy tell me that you shouldn't choose wind-generated electricity because 'wind doesn't blow at night, so you lose power'. think critically about things instead of just regurgitating garbage that supports your worldview.

by the way, carbon dioxide dissolved in water exists in equilibrium with carbonic acid, meaning that the more overall carbon dioxide there is the more carbonic acid there is as well. so while the ocean absorbs a lot of CO2, it's also becoming more acidic.

Could not the sun be the culprit for 'global warming'?  NASA reports an increase of solar flares in recent years and states the sun is hotter than normal in recent years.

Might possibly just cause storms. No climate change as it can't cause temperature rise and doesn't block out enough of the sun to cool a lot of temperatures below average. It is quite interesting, however that is has power to do either, even in just that small region.

Correct, but for some it is easier to buy into mularky and then keep that fire going.

I've heard of that bama. That was the one condor mentioned...I remember that now...I will say she is not the average volcano. :old:

Variation in the sun's temperature generally varies on a 10-30 span and doesn't have much of a lasting or important effect on the bigger picture. A slower, but overall stronger forcing (really the primary forcing) is the variability of radiation the earth receives due to changes in its orbit and axis (Milankovich cycles - major ones are ~20,000, ~40,000, and ~100,000 years long)

This shows total insolation (energy received from the sun) with '0' being present day. As you can see, we are almost (but not quite yet) at a minimum for insolation.
