Rather see Linux-friendly since I am dumping Windows once and for all.

linux friendly or linux begging for somebody to make drivers for some of your hardware.

You lost me.  :headscratch:

I run Linux Mint for everything except AH.   Lightning fast.  Stable.  Even pulled a 7-year old laptop out of storage and put Mint on that sucker.   Runs like a brand new machine.

Now if only AH would run on it I would be set.

well allow me to retort, what does marsellus wallace look like?

see this is why people like you who quit and wont stop whining get banned from the bb.  I'll give you an example, I could never install linux mint on my computer because I had sli cards and there was no drivers in linux for it.  also my sound card didnt have drivers available so I had no sound if I used only 1 card.  the list goes on an on.

linux is getting better but it still doesnt have drivers for all the hardware out there.  so you expect ah to provide drivers for every possible configuration when linux itself doesnt?

say what gain, i dare you I double dare you.

According to what I can find on a few websites, the variants of Mac OS X account for less than 8% of the desktop market.

Now, that's what I call low numbers.

You're going to have to spell out to him why AH is written to cater to the most players (not that he represents an active AH player). If V is trying to sell Linux here let's hope there's something in it for him. Free set of Linux knee pads, perhaps?

Squad recruitment is something players can do (and have done) to help numbers. We're talking the personal face-to-face kind. Some of us may have to get out more anyway and we all have real life friends, right? Bound to be a few that have similar interests and may have flown a flight sim or two. Too embarrassed to admit you're an AH junkie? Tell 'em about the 2 free weeks and make sure you're there for `em as they try it.

Now about the griefers and spoilers ... doesn't anyone enjoy hunting the misbehaving kids anymore? That used to be a fun game unto itself.
