Night Time

 :airplane: I think it is time to really consider the advantages of having a "night:" period during the 24 hour time span!

A number of advantages would be thus: GV'ing in the dark, or at least dusk light!
CV groups would not be able to be seen as good as they are now.
The "dark" hours would change the fighter vs fighter dynamic's a lot!
More NOE bomber raids
Change distance troops will run from 2K out from a town!

Do a search on it. Night time has been hotly contested here many time s. HiTech has said no. It is the the one thing that had people log off in droves when we did have it.

in another thread you wish the icon range was extended to 8k or whatever citing your failing eyesight.

now you want to make it harder to see?

night would be nice and i dont care the gama slide just the nice looking of nightfighting would hold the most of using thair gamma slide.

what about somthing like titanic thusday, just a day in the week were nightime is anabled?

242nd Sloppy terminators have set up a Night fighting arena in the Customs and no one ever shows up. Which is a bummer because its loads of fun :old:

:airplane: I wouldn't fly during that time, maybe do some mission planning or such, because I can't see now with that awful "dusk" period now! I usually just start GV'ing or something when that comes on! I know I could use the "gamma" slider to make visibility better, but I had rather play the game as it is presented to me. Old fashioned I guess, but a lot of thought went into presenting the different situations by Aces High!

Earl,

To many younger than us, winning at all costs doesn't mean selling their soul. It means: "I win, you loose, screw you!!" It works because the Intardnet is anonymous with no accountability to painfully grow you up.

You should read HR blogs and the epidemic of problems that attitude has created in the last decade. The biggest single problem is trying to find people to employ who are not adult bodies with 8th grader emotional problems steering their mouths.

The Intardnet and social media is not your child's friend.

When I began playing, night time existed.  I cannot recall the duration.  It was something very different -- no arcade similarity at all.  I thought it beautiful.

Yep.  As long as it's possible to adjust gamma in game it makes no sense to have "night".

I've always been a supporter of night. But given the current numbers Im inclined to agree. But only because we dont currently have the numbers to make it worthwhile.

I feel the same way about the Big maps. I LOVE the big maps when we have the numbers to justify them. This is no longer the case so for the moment I think the big maps need to be put in storage for a later date
