I know some I'd put forth as body donators...if the donators brains were destroyed after...
No, that is too crass, they can keep Zack1234's head in bottle after...

But if something like this is successful, it means that the arms and legs (as well as other currently unusable parts of the body) could also be given to someone who is in need.

Not to worry, DT. Adult and umbilical chord stem cell research is rapidly closing in on the ability to grow replacement organs, without the need for anti-rejection meds for the rest of the patient's life. Pretty cool stuff. They've already grown human hearts that were shown to be functional, though not yet in a human host. However, I do believe sections of tracheaes have been grown and successfully implanted into throat cancer patients. We're on the verge of a revolution in this research path, and with none of the ethical concerns that plague other lines of research.

I like this idea.  :aok and I know where we can get a source of bodies.  :old: prison!  :old: yep with the new use of bodies we can justify loping a prisoners head because his body will go to a good place like, Michael Jordan, or Brett Favre, or me.  :rock  heck minus a stroke or brain cancer i could see myself living for a long time.

I have worked as a Correctional Officer in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice...... you do not want an inmate body. Those guys are host so many diseases it is not even funny. Also even if they are disease free they are probably suffering from some form of organ failure brought on by consuming the multitudes of toilet hooch or self made drugs.

Will it fix stupid?

If you are happy that lab mice have been given things that improved their mouse cognitive ability. Along with improving it with older mice by setting their physical condition back to a younger age. Then it is probable a protein trigger will be turned into a therapy to gain humans some IQ points. And a few points in the lab with mice at least is all it took to see a world of difference between stupid and able to learn.

Now what people do with a few IQ points, is that your threshold for stupid? Some people just don't use what they have. The common factor amongst small business owners that determined their success in the U.S. at least. A very high level of persistence at what they were doing. Just hanging in there and grinding away day after, week after, month after year.

The rest of us colonials just sit on our couches eating pie and listening to Oprah. That must be where our IQs went.... :O

Now I remember, but, that was some time back when I thought I forgot. More pie will fix everything...... :old:

I think he was referring to the white guys doing time for tax evasion.  <end of sarcasm>.
