Lets pre-flight a B-17G
« on: May 13, 2015, 06:27:54 AM »
Surprised my dad with a ride on the EAA's "Aluminum Overcast" this last Saturday in Manassas VA after the WW2 flyover. I'll post some more videos as I add them...

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Those guys have drank too much coffee!

When I was a kid, a B-17 and B-24 landed at Bowman Field in Louisville, KY.  I went inside both of them.  It was getting late when I went inside the B-17.  The pilot and co-pilot started going through the pre-flight check to start up.  I thought "Do they even know I'm in here?".  I slightly sped up my-self guided tour and exited the aircraft.
Currently ignoring Vraciu as he is a whoopeeed retard.

I would have felt very vulnerable in a B17 with it's glass front ... when I know the enemy practised high-12 attacks..

nice pictures !

My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.
