get 'er done

Want something done right, do it YOURSELF   :furious   :bhead

I'd thought, incorrectly, with some family in town they could do some simple carp for my mom, as she has a double bypass this Tuesday.

Simple task, go to Walgreens, get her an incentive spirometer to help get her respiratory function up and strong now; not postop. I tried her hospital pharmacy and a Walgreens last week; only one here sells DME (durable medical equipment); gave the aunt the address (2 miles away). Peach pie is apparently more important.

I have been very busy; but yes I could have found some extra time to  :bhead go do it myself. So, yes it's my fault, I guess I'm ignorant for asking an adult to do a simple task for a loved one.

My late brother, that was murdered in 1997 used to say two things: "want something done right, do it yourself" and "if you lined all the idiots up along I-17 there would be a line as long as Phoenix to Flagstaff; hold your hand out the window and smack 'em all as you drive by".

Rant over.
They're casting their bait over there, see?
