How does it "hurt the 'spirit' of the game" and what advantage do they get? Just curious...
Spotting and targeting a GV hiding in the fire of a burning hanger, no matter which hanger makes it very difficult to kill. On top of it there is the "realism" card some mention of it either frying, or the crew not having air to breath as being un-realistic.
It is just another way to "game the game" and hide a GV on say a V base and kill the troops as they run. To me, it's like the old church we had in the old towns. "Make an extra pass on the church to be sure it's down!" was the cry before troops ran. Now its check the burning hangers for GVs..... seeing as it seems nobody can take a field with out knocking down everything on it.
