You shoulda been there!  :furious A relentless pounding with no helpfull hints on how to pound back. Just up and boom, over and over and over...  dozens and dozens of times... They showed no mercy, no let up. :furious

Those with great tanking skills should have slower turrets and weaker ammo so the rest of us have a decent fighting chance.   :old:

I hit them, and with substantial frequency, but my rounds bounce off.  They one shot kill me virtually every time like I was nothing more than a cheap toy. :bhead

No wonder the gap between the 1% and the rest of us.

WWhiskey is one of the top tankers in the game. Ask him for some training; he's a great guy and a good teacher.

Hint: if your getting nailed repeatedly at the same spawn, maybe it's time to move elsewhere  :devil

I did.  While he helped once a long time ago, and awesome help it was at the time I will admit, he only laughed when I said "Ok" when he said I should get more lessons. :cry then Boom!, back in the tower.  They are both such nice people usually.  Something gets hold of 'em and then they go at it dozens of times against us 99%'ers.

How is a lowly tanker like me suppose to beat these guys?  They rack up the perky points to get top of the line tanks by pounding the rest of us without mercy and my perkie points get wasted with their next incomming round(s).

Sure, I could go elsewhere, but that is no way to beat these top dawgs.  :old:

The lesson you should have learned from this, ( and yes, this was a lesson)  is to not up 1k in front of very big tanks with their guns already pointed in your direction over and over!

No amount of training   is ever going to help anyone who insists on spawning below and infront of a Tiger and a panther. :bhead

But you know your invitation is always open for training!

I'd recommend identification training,, IE that's a tiger2 and a Panther, I should stop upping my T-34 right In front of them!

Oh. :headscratch:

Well, why didn't you say that before I died nearly 100 times?  All I see is a little brown spot in the grass... can't tell a Tiger from a Panther or any other brown colored tank...yet.  :frown:

Top dawg tankers should tell everyone this with words instead of rounds before pounding them silly, if they want to be helpful and nice... unless, of course, perkie points are more important to them than the poor tankers trying their best to get better. :O

People are more important than perks. :old:

Amp, when i was a knight, one of my all time favorite things to do was to try and up at a spawn that dr7 was camping.  I got my kiester handed to me plenty. Some days he had it camped so well i gave up and i posted a salute, other days i'd get him.  But one thing was certain, and it was comfirmed when i went back to rooks, we both had a lot of fun.  I would be happy to go over my bag of tricks.  PM me (8thJinx) when you see me in-game.

In a game of war, finding people who are helpful and nice are far and few between.  :old:

You have to go out of your way to ask people to help you, most people enjoy killing the enemy over and over again. With tanks this is especially true becauae they can pound that spawn area easily.

I'd take that advice by WWhiskey, he has a lot of of important points there.
