I'm pretty happy with how AH is developing and the additions over the next year will be fun. I'm hoping for more aircraft, vehicles, improved and increasingly complex terrains for the arenas, scenarios(!) and a remake of some of the earlier aircraft modelled. I mean just look at that Hurricane cockpit!!

Oh, and read here:
 http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/interviews/aceshigh/pyro/

And since HTC adds some nice innovations (like clouds, operable navy, mannable ack guns, trains convoys, mission planner, terrain editor..etc etc) along with more aircraft and vehicle additions I'm excited thinking about what may come.

Soldiers? It could be fun. Given most folks don't like Panzers crawling along the terrain at 25mph not sure they'll like hoofing it at a mere 5. But I'd hoist a rifle for kicks if it were available.

The future of AH looks pretty grim if you ask me. In a year from now the server will be filled with little peskie WWIIO kiddies because it went broke   ;)

I think being realistic AH a year from now wont really change to much, apart from more new AC etc & Terraines....however I would bet my bottom dollar that we will see damage being more modeled in the way that you will see holes, and damage on your A/C, like in microsoft air combat 2.
Oh and submarines might make an apperance too! LOL.

some new "uber" plane all the whiners will be crying about, someone is deeply hated on the bbs, Rudes Whine of the Week will still be going strong (hopefully), HiTech will get addicted with the game and forget his programing, putting him on the 13th spot on the top K/D ratio with the P-47, and actively telling Pyro that its "Porked" and that it should be fixed, or someone will get fired.

Hopefully with more new terrains and better weather that will actually influence the way your aircraft handles. Maybe they will stagger the wind layers so you don't start slewing sideways suddenly at 12,500 on each flight.

Give us thunderstorms, snow storms, RAIN, low level fog and wind.....PLEASE!  :D

In a year I think all RAF planes plus the N1K, P-51D, Yak-9U, and La-7 will be perked.  The target of the planewhiners will be the C.202.  Luftwaffe will be flying Tornados and MiG-29, but griping about the modeling of the Tornado's swing wing and the IRST set on the MiG.   :)

Cant do that, too hard for the quake heads to fly in. How would they ever get off the ground in a crosswind?

within a year the average home will have a holo-deck (ala star-trek) where you will get in and fly a virtual plane in a virtual world with total virtual realism, causeing you to oftin virtually toejam your pants.
