Whels
« on: June 12, 2015, 09:10:25 AM »
I had a Facebook notification that it was Whels's birthday today and went to his page to wish him a Happy Birthday, only to find he sadly passed away in January.  :(  I had known him since my Air Warrior days and he always greeted me with lots of XOXOXOs, making me grin every time.  Looks like he has not been active in AH for a couple of years, at least not in the forums.  My greatest regret is I never got to meet him in RL.

 :salute Whels XOXOXOX

That's a damn shame, Flossy...

Whels was a fine fellow and found the strength to deal with some very daunting health issues. He was always helpful and kind....
My regards,

I used to have a lot of fun with Whels, going back into the 1990s.

Fair winds buddy, I miss you already.

This is truly sad news.  I've known whels since AW days, was always a good guy and fun to fly and fight with.   :salute

Whels was a familiar name for a long, loooooong time.  When's the memorial flight?
