There was a clip Eagle posted some years ago of an F-15 doing that from take off with the caption "Can you do this?"

Im wondering what engines are in that one. Im assuming its the RR Trents cause they have more thrust.

As to the 330 I couldnt say. I would think there is really no point to even try such a stunt, not even with the new NEO, cause now its already been done. All that matters is what the airlines think, and what they order. And that will be what they make the most money on.

Both not nearly as impressive as a 2-engined Boeing plane.

I loved this comment on the vid:

Flight attendant: "Since we reached our cruising altitude so quickly, the captain has turned off the 5-point harness sign.  All those needing to change their undergarments, please form an orderly queue at the lavatory in the rear of the aircraft.  We'll be coming through with sedatives and additional paper bags shortly.  Enjoy the flight!"

You mean the imaginary passengers. This stunt wouldn't be possible with full takeoff weight.

I would imagine the person writing the comment had intended it to be funny and I'm certain they did not believe any pax were aboard.

Jeez, ever heard of humor? It's a funny thing. Try it sometime.  :confused:
