Oh sure..whatever "floats yer boat"

Have you been in the meat aisle at your local super market?  Do you think they grow the steaks on a tree??

Humans are probably killing more than ever to survive.  That is why I don't understand your comment.  Apparently because someone else does it for you, it makes it ok I'm guessing.   :headscratch:

Wow...that's about the dumbest statement I'm seen in a long time.  :old:  Allow me to enlighten you and others that have the same faulty thinking in regards to wildlife.  It's relatively simple bottom line...MOTHER NATURE WILL MAINTAIN THE BALANCE WITHOUT Human intervention.

Creatures go extinct due to NATURAL causes OR HUMAN intervention. We (humans) still have not learned to live by the simple rule of "LIVE AND LET LIVE"

Animals hunt to survive..the days when humans had to hunt/kill to survive (at least in all the civilized countries) are long gone.

By the way... IMMHO, Trophy hunting is simply a result of a mental deficiency.  :old:

Remember this post if/when your house gets infested by some nasty little critters. Don't call the exterminator, just live with mother nature. She will "balance" the critters out of your home right?  :rofl

A few year ago a large Hornet came into the yard and was buzzing around the fire pit, kids yelled to me to come look, it was actually kicking up ash dust with it wings down draft, closest thing to kill it with was the dasiy BB gun in the minibarn, shot it dead I assume it was a European version since it had nazi markings.
Whether you think you can or cannot, you are right!

There are more trees in North America now than any time in recorded history, going back a few centuries. The screams and tears of deforestation just not true.

How did all that farmland come about then?

How did all that farmland come about then?

Plenty of clearing, and even more trees. An example, when the pioneers first moved to Utah the entire valley had zero trees, just a scrub desert. Now, millions of trees, all planted by humans. Environmentalist have created imagery that is just inaccurate.

Deforestation is a big problem in the developing world, but not in North America or Europe. There are more trees here now than back in WWII since we've all but stopped using wood for fuel.

From the Atlantic coast to the Mississippi was once a vast forest. Has it been reforested?

But houses, which there are many, many more of today, are still being built.

Of course not, but forests in North America and Europe are growing now, not shrinking like they used to.

Mcdonalds stopped the need to hunt :old:

Indeed..., perhaps "trophy hunters" should goto McD's,  purchase a burger and hang it above the FP Mantle.  :old:  :D

Hmm, interesting point about the pioneers and burning fires. I Didn't think of it in that light, if anyone is wondering though I can take a picture of my backyard (in a week or so i finally mowed lol) it's a damn jungle. Makes me glad I'm moving for work here soon, I get to duck the worst of the summer and everything.
