Why 2950 RPMs on the P-38?

Used keyboard for full power(shift +).

Why not the full 3000 rated RPMs?

The point of the needle isn't set to center. In this example the leading edge of the needle indicates the RPM. It's just a graphic, it doesn't affect performance.

I find it hard to believe HTC uses the leading edge as the pointer.  Very bizarre.

Please for the love of God don't say "rpms" rotation per minute. It's not plural as it's not multiple minutes. It's only one. :)

but it's not rotations per minutes. Rotations per minute :)
