event calender

i was just about to ask if there's a calendar of some sort to see the scheduled events
Then, i found "The calendar" and was quite happy and impressed
THEN, i looked at the month ahead (July) and saw its empty...

i am "coming back" player who used to fly a lot in special events, that's the real treat for me in the game.
looking at the boards it looks like there's a lot of event types.
is there a short write-up that summarize all the different events+ day in the week+ time? if so i would appreciate a link if not, would be great if someone could describe each event in 1 or 2 lines

last question, im a euro player, what are the numbers in euro friendly events?
