It would be a big mistake for AH NOT to allow former players a short free sub to an open Beta. I think thats the best thing they could possibly do is to give everyone free access to open Beta after an E-mail blitz. That and there not only has to be significant improvement in graphics but also game play mechanics and maps. Thats the only way the game has a chance to return to greatness.
You think its still there? Many do not. If you consider overall K/Ds as a marking stone look at the LWA K/Ds in the last 6 mos alone. 12/2014 545,000 "approx", 01/2015 525,000, 02/2015 484,000, 03/2015 476,000, 04/2015 426,000, 05/2015 428,000, and 06/2015 "an all time Low of 365,000". I know much of this was due to that HQ nonsense but the game has gone from a high of 1,400,000 to 1,600,000 to 365,000 LWA K/Ds. Now they have to ask how to get those players, of which Im one, back.
Many have been gone for years now. Most of all the foreign players who were such an asset to the game.
It will have to be more then just an incremental improvement in graphics and art work. I guess we'll see.
