dot command to disable other player's salutes

Does anyone care if player A salutes player B?  I sure don't and it needlessly takes up text buffer space. 

This picture was pilfered from another thread and shows saluting gone amok, but even when it works as intended, why do I need to see other people saluting other people?




It would be nice to have a dot command to disable all salutes that don't pertain to yourself.  . nosalutes or something like that.

You can try squelching channel 1, I think.

You can fix your text bar settings to eliminate salutes (channel 1) but that means you won't see salutes directed at yourself.

If you mean I should send all salutes as a PM, that changes nothing as I can still see everyone else's salutes.

If you mean HTC should make it a PM, that is basically what I'm asking for, only that when you type .salute "so and so", only "so and so" and you can see it.
