The 47 Ronin - Inaugural Squad Night- Thursday 9PM Eastern

Gentlemen,
  It is my pleasure to announce the first "official" 47 Ronin Squad Night
this coming Thursday night at 9PM Eastern. U.S.
  All are welcome to join in and celebrate with us, regardless of country affiliation.
(Swap over to the Rooks for an evening.)
  This will actually be a small turnout of 47 Ronin as I'm in the rebuilding stage after
2.5 years in mothballs. While I've currently got 15 pilots "committing", only half have
active accounts at the moment.
  I'm hoping for a turnout of 6 Ronin, but expecting only 4. 
  Having said that, I could use some "moral support" and hope some of you will
join us to flesh things out for the evening.

Great night all around. Odd was detailed and efficient as always and Limbo did an amazing job organizing Rook assaults as others joined throughout the evening (and morning). Thanks to everyone who joined the party!

  I wish to thank each and every one of you guys who joined us on our inaugural mission.
While there were some initial "uh ohs" (particularly with the delineation of "skins" for the
fighters, (This was ENTIRELY my fault.) that was a hell of a lot of fun for me and I hope
for all of you as well.
  To the pilots of our illustrious G4Ms, I aplogize for your magnificent deaths and will
ritually disembowel myself shortly as proof of my sorrow and shame. In my defense, however,
I purposely put us into a position where were were sure to have a LOT of action, and in
that I, and you, were successful.
  Hopefully the Knights had as many cheap rushes as we did attacking us as we did
defending against them.
   It was, to use an old Irish saying; "A bit of a barney."   

  In closing, my sincere thanks once again to all who participated!
