On my iPhone so I can't see the post but I fish the Raritian Bay weekly, a lot of my friends are Captains of boats that were involved in this. My closest friend made an UN countable number of trips back and forth that day only stopping to refuel his boat, and pick up water at the dock for the people he was taking back and forth.  I can honestly say that there is not a better group of guys that ply those waters on a daily basis making their living.

I can't believe that this is the first time I've heard this story.  Maybe I did back then and just forgot it, something far too common regarding that day.  Incredible, half a million people in 9 hours.
