Former head of the Swedish IRS, he worked as advisor for the Greece IRS in 2013 and his opinion is that it had a "high level of incompetence, corruption and lack of political will to do any real changes to the agency".

His conclusion is that it doesnt matter what they do since the responsible agency is incapable of conducting it.

(from an article in a swedish newspaper)

So they are a bunch of tax dodgers then?

The Greeks have no intention of sorting out their economy as much as FIFI is going to sort out their charade.

How do i get in on this scam?

Zack why do you post? You would dodge taxes also if you had to work 10 hours a day for 400 euros a month while gas and living costs are equivalent to Germany.

Noone wants to pay taxes. Too few see the connection between themselves and the public institutions that are running the country and makes their lives better. Thats whay a country need a working IRS that make sure people pay their taxes so the goverment have the money they need.
Greece doenst have an effective IRS...

40 years ago they were riding donkeys and waving Communist flags.

They DON'T and have never paid taxes!

Should i not pay taxes?

The EU was set up by the IMF to make sure everyone was included in the concept you work you get paid.

If i lived in the US i would a room full of thompsons,

Ripley hates the commies but wants the Greeks to behave like commies and not pay their way.

More goats and smashed plates is the future.

And Finland more bacon and whipping each other with birch sticks.

I'm sorry to poop on your party Zack but Greece hasn't been under Communist rule. more of the opposite actually. Post war Greece saw both civil war and dictatorship (by anti communist militaries). not until 1974 could the work for democracy start.

Greece was made a democracy by Karamanlis in 1974. Before that the country was ruled by the military junta that overthrew the British/American puppet regime that followed the Greek Civil War after WWII. Nothing is simple in Greece.

Contemplate a world where the US no longer pays for the defense of Europe against the menacing Red Bear.   We withdraw our troops, stop paying for the upkeep of our nuclear weapons there, disband our bases, etc.

What happens when Europe has to start paying for their own military defense? One thing for sure, the green energy and finger pointing about how polluting the US is goes bye bye.

Other than the UK, Europe is largely under US protection from Putin et al/etc or whatever Iranian Ayatollah&President whacko currently wants to wipe somewhere off the map.

And this had to do what with this discussion? Even if it was correct which it is not.
