Kicked out of AH then firewalled

I was playing when I was suddenly disconnected with the appropriate error. I then attempted to log back in and AH posted a "allow access through Firewall" note. I have gone to my firewall and AH is still allowed. Spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out. No idea what to do.

In any case, seems I'm banned from AH. Are others having this problem? It did note that servers have moved, though I doubt AH moved servers right then.

There was a mass disco. Happened to me too for about 5 minutes. I can now get back in.

You get that error when your computer cant connect to the server. The problem is "why" cant you connect. If there was an issue between you and the HTC servers ANY WHERE along the route, you won't be able to get back in. If you cant connect, the best thing is to run pingplotter and check your route to the server. You would most likely see and lot of packet lose and very high pings if it connected at all.

With storms popping up all over it is easy enough to lose the connection and it may take some time before that section gets repaired and you can reconnect. It's just the nature of the beast/internet.

Happened to me before. 

I unplugged everything having to do with CONNECTION.  Then reset my internet.

Problem was solved.  AT&T U-Verse in North TX can be a pain sometimes but great most of the time.

Oh..  And run AH2 as administrator.  That sometimes fixes some issues.  I also disable my firewall when playing.
