Ping times are bouncing up and down between very low to > 1s. Bulletin board seems a bit sluggish, too. Anyone else in Germany or Europe seeing the same thing?

From our end it looks like the gateway from AlterNet to t-ipconnect.de is having a problem.  This would be at the link between the coast of the U.S. and Europe.

Fixed - seems to have been a Telekom transatlantic issue.

Ty for caring :)

I can connect again !  :pray

It was "DNS" connection error: i had same problem, whole day, with some U.S websites : i assume it was part of the web bridge between U.S and Europe
that went down...and is back again !! Omw to play AHII !  :rock :salute

Edit : I just saw i got a very bad ping atm, must be linked to the DNS problems... (217 instead of usual 140ms i have..)... :headscratch:

What's the error message you get when trying to get to the web site?

Just recently a friend called from Spain, having problems connecting anywhere because of DNS problems. His problem was solved by manually adding Google's DNS addresses to the network settings, Internet Protocol version 4. You might be able to add them even to your modem which would serve all of your devices connected to it. The Google DNS server addresses are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
