Her new ride.  :aok

2015 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara edition with color matching removable hardtop, leather seats, and touch screen navigation. She has wanted a blue jeep for years and now she finally has one. I'm so happy that she's happy (and now she will quit taking the mustang to work before I do  :x .)

Only peasants have to wait a few months betwixt brand new vehicle purchases.
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

It was a long hard wait but we managed through it.  ;)

Love that E90 style. We have a 328xi. Just detailed it for the wife last week-end (Wash, Clay bar, Griot's Machine Polish 2, then 3, then Klasse AIO poly wax, and finally a coat of Klasse Sealant)

Beauty of a 4x4 Silver, I am not particularly wild about Jeep (aka Dodge) products but sure do like the color!

I hope it is vastly better than the Jeep Compass Toyota gave me as a rental while they did some work on my 4Runner.  Compass with 1200 miles on it was a piece of crap compared to my 4Runner with 140,000 miles on it.

Wow that is absolutely hilarious! My dad just bought a 2015 mustang and then we got a 2015 jeep sahara edition!  Both have been great so far!

Congratulations to you and your wife, welcome to the Wrangler community.

Remind your sweetie that she's now obligated to wave at all Wranglers on the road.  :aok

Enjoy it, it's a great ride in summer and winter. If you take the doors off, be sure not to let the door swing in the wind after taking the retaining strap off (the mirror base can dent the cowl). Also, when the doors come off so do the mirrors. You can buy a aftermarket mirror (inexpensive) that mounts on the door hinge pin to keep the local law happy. If you live near the coast, you have the perfect beach vehicle. Just remember to air down the tires to about 15 psi before hitting the sand. Green Slime makes an inexpensive (under $60) compressor with the capacity needed to air back up (although many beaches provide an air chuck). Bring a jack board and invest in a recovery (tow) strap, no metal hooks. About $25 at your local Walmart. Read the owner's manual. Lots of stuff to know.

My Wrangler was bought 7 years ago. It's been reliable and great fun in sand, trails and snow. I think you and your wife will enjoy the heck out of it.

The Compass is a derived from the very forgettable Dodge Caliber. Most Wrangler owners cringe at the thing.

I'd never heard of it.  It was terrible.  I'd pick my wife's 2010 Corolla over it in a heartbeat.  The engine noise was very loud compared to either our Toyotas, and the acceleration was, if anything, worse than the Corolla's and it pulled sharply to one side when accelerating. The steering felt...inconsistent. The interior was complete junk, badly assembled, not securely mounted with hard to read instrumentation.

It did have a strong AC system through.

SilverZ06,

I hope your wife enjoys her Wrangler.
