Woodworking

Woodworking has always inspired me, seeing how a log transforms into something useful can be very satisfying. Here's what I did last winter:

If you think my woodworking is only a wintertime hobby, here's what I've accomplished this summer:

Nice ax, Bizman! I'm an acoustic guy myself, but still appreciate an electric. How's it sound?

Thanks! The sound isn't too good, quite typical for a cheap Tele. The hardware is about the cheapest I could find on Ebay, I wanted to make sure it'd be playable before investing into quality mics.

I'm a wood worker use to be my trade but now just my hobby. I just built a bar in my (finished) basement out of reclaimed black walnut, made it into Judges paneling around the base, with mahogany accents/ inlay and a top made out of walnut and clear grade maple. Also did a keyboard style dentil molding around the arm rail.  Turned out really nice. (I'll  upload pics when I get a chance)

Could never build a guitar, but have a close friend who is a luthier. He is the Bev in Hen-Bev guitars.
