I've been yelled at a bunch of times killing someone with an insane good K/D.  I get lucky every now and then.  Usually the rants are PMed to me.  I detune 200 anyways unless I want to pay someone a compliment over a fight.

I have heard people say this before and I will repeat it again, for those that care about score, then get angry to find themselves in the tower...   ...stop worrying about your score and concentrate on having a great time.

And what I don't understand is how does one get a 15 or 20 to 1 KD anyways?  I suck too much to get even close.  I am happy with anything above break even...

Either by supreme fighting skills, or careful selection of fights and equipment. Or by going after the more easy targets, like bombers (like your's truly). Or a combination of all that.
Oh, and luck plays a big role, too.

Fly a fast cannon bird, BNZ, have really good SA so you know when to leave.  Most importantly, fly with that goal in mind.  I think I could actually get to 7-8 maybe, but I would have to be more timid, and that's not my style.

Might as well wish for guns that shoot daisies and daffodils, or bombs that plant shrubbery, because it's not going to happen.

Well, it is a wish. I don't see how it is a bad thing to bring up or wish for, thus it does not require anyone putting it down for any reason. This is the best wish I have seen on the boards in a lot of years since this is pretty much what drove me away from enjoying a lot about the game. I hope his wish comes true, even if it is just one player biting his tongue one time, and if you want guns that shoot daisies and daffodils, or bombs that plant shrubbery, then I hope you get your wishes too. Oh look! Guns can shoot daisies and daffodils, they just fall apart though...    :bolt:

sadly, it wouldn't make a difference, but we all know already. Using .report judiciously when it's warranted is all we can do.

Post is a success if one person reading it takes 10 seconds to think before they start ranting. It's really not hard, just treat the other people how u want to be treated. All if not most ppl here are here for the same reason, the fact that we love this era in history.....and in some small way we honor them every time we up a plane, research a skin, post a link about a fallen vet, a plane restored or a story from the past. It's about what they did, not what we do in game.  We mourn for lost players, and celebrate with our friends/foes at the birth of a child or a success in real life. Folks just need to remember that part of the game/community,and not the win/lose part. That part of the game is inconsequential.  Just my approach to the game, players and my 0.02cents
