It's just not that hard to think before you type.  A person doesn't slip with what they type.  You don't type in a fit of rage.  You have to think about it first.

AH is an escape from the real world BS for most.  Since no one really dies, and the game never runs out of planes, might as well enjoy it and share that with the folks you play with and against.

The saddest thing in game to me are the folks you think what they do in AH makes them somebody.  If you have to find your significance in AH, your world has to be a really sorry place.

And you can bet: For many of us, it is.

Does a trash-talking moron make a sound if no one is on channel 200?
Easy answer is nope, but there are still whine PM(S's)...

It's just a wish, and there are a few who make a living (so to speak) exposing their backsides as if anyone really cares.

If he is still hearing pings when in the tower, its because the guy got the piss hammered out of him. Seems someone not only needs to learn how to be nice, but needs to use his/her brain just a tad bit longer...
I don't tune to 200 for the sole reason I cant keep up with that high of an amount of stupid in the world, and if they Pm me, I indulge them with such an onslaught of information that they soon realize that they have no way of winning a battle of chat as well.
Don't let it bother you, stay true to being a nice guy and let the fools be fools..

right click on the call sign in the roster on your clipboard and select squelch. If they rant at you on vox, right click on their call sign and select squelch voice. You no longer see or hear poor sportsmanship, chest beating, or any other behavior that is in poor taste.

Most players are very helpful and fun to wing with. Do not let the bad apples ruin your play on Aces High. Overall the community in all three countries are fun to fly with or gv.

As I mentioned, mostly I am concerned about the new guy who asks a question and the answer is Alt-F4.

I will however say a young fellow (very young) was asking questions on range the other night, an people were actually helping him. I don't hear that often. Good show fella's

Well, the keyword I was replying to was "significance".
Playing a game to get away from everyday's chores and to relax a bit is one thing.
Making it a (or even the most) significanct part of your life is a different matter. I know what I'm talking about...  :uhoh

None of this would be a problem if people accepted they may get bested once in a while and accept it for what it is, a game.
