Any clown can fly one plane all tour when he only has one mission profile that he flies.

Try flying one plane and perform most types of missions such as high altitude intercepts, pounding a town, base defense, bombing strategic targets, defending strategic targets, sinking CVs.......etc.

That's what US planes are for, primarily the 38L and 51D  :aok

Easy, I do it all the time.
But then, I tend to spend most of my time on Scenario stuff so I might only fly one time in a month but, One Plane, One Tour!   :bhead

Chose the yak3 for this tour, has been hard already was, grounded by eny one late night and was tempted by Navy planes when close to a field capture/furball, now as I type  this I just recall resupplying HQ last night so I blew it already it the strictest sense of the matter.

P38 does sound like a good choice.

Even "Midway" tried a few times in the 38.   He would always quit after a week of getting crushed like a grape.

 :rofl

Midway thought that he could become an "experten" in the P-38 and then "pwn" us dedicated Lightning drivers.  He tried the same with the P-51D and that failed too.

I would venture a guess that many of my squaddies have never seen the inside cockpit of anything other than a P38   :D

I would resemble that observation.   :old:

However, I did fly a goon once and another time I flew a Me 163.  :D

I do  :old:  in a P38.

I may get shot down a lot doing it but I enjoy myself and seldom have a problem finding someone to shoot at me.
