The time has come my crustacean brethren!

The symbolic rains have come and it is our time! It is time to march and take over the land wit our vast numbers from the pathetic hoomans that cowardly bait us with chicken necks from the safety of land. Pop their tires in defiance!

In a nutshell I've been spends a few hours every night wandering the parking lots of my apartments saving crabs  during their epic season. They get stuck in the driveways that have very high curbs and get ran over by cars or get stuck in the sun and die.

It sounds like the perfect time to go trophy crab bow hunting.  I don't think crab are on the airline's recently revised prohibited carcass transportation list so they probably won't care it's out of season and a few trophy crab mounts would look good in the lodge.

Horrible giant land crabs mutated after a meteorite hits the ground in the middle of their mating migration out of the back woods swamps. The meteorite is highly cosmic ray radioactive and is primarily composed of adamantite. The dead and dyeing crabs due to the cosmic radiation begin fusing with the adamantite.......and growing.......... :O
