for the people considering surround gaming
« on: August 10, 2015, 11:42:48 AM »
I just transitioned from an AMD R280X to a nvidia GTX 970. and while I won't comment on the performance I have a couple observations on how the drivers handle multi monitor setups:

- With AMD drivers I was able to configure my setup like I wanted and create a windows shortcut of that configuration that I could place anywhere. It allowed me to switch from 3 separated screens (3*1920*1080) to one big screen (5760*1200) in a click or two and was surprisingly stable.

- with nvidia I need to activate it via a remote menu in the control panel, and reconfigure it anytime I want to use it. There used to be a keyboard shortcut to activate it in Win7 (that forced to reconfigure the screen at the end anyway), but I did not find it under Win10.

If someone has tips for the nvidia driver I'm all ears!  :aok

I don't have a Windows keyboard (no Windows key), so maybe you can tell what "Windows Key + P" does for you?
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
