Bruv's Little Pink Spitfire Flight
« on: July 26, 2015, 02:47:06 PM »
It seems that we only get together to fly memorial flights in honour of those we've lost. It's rare that we get to fly in order to celebrate a happy occasion. But last night we decided to do something a bit special in order to fete the arrival of Bruv's daughter, or as we like to call her, his little pink Spitfire.  :salute

Kegstand was a bit eager to go nose on target.

Participating squadrons included the 111 Black Arrows, the 47 Ronin, and the Army of Muppets.

The flight included our resident expert on the Pink Spitty, Pepprr. . :)

The Bishops were kind enough to form a reception party at A88

We weren't the only ones dressing up for the occasion. There were a few other colourful birds in the air.

Of course it's not a party without a few fireworks.

I think this is the first Baby Shower where the "shower" came in the form of airplane parts.
