I have mentioned this before in some other context, but it would be really nice if we could sign up for text notifications for stuff like KOTH.  A text in the AM and one maybe 60 or 30 minutes before event?  It would help hopeless people like me....

yeah, if a person was to use their smartphone, it will ding,buzz whatever just like a text alert..... sounds like a good idea, if you can do it, but the players would have to request/sign up for the email alert ( back in yesteryear Big Max, Gremlin, fuzeman et all, used to have a designated email list that sent out reminders long ago )

was fun, although I got there late and had to leave early......best fun was hunting wabbits . think I bagged 3 or 4 wabbit kills ( is bout all I really did, heh )
