Spitfire and Fw 190 make pit stop at my local airport!
« on: August 28, 2015, 01:50:23 PM »
Two aircraft I've never seen in flight flew right over my head today! They made a stop at Clarksburg Benedum Airport in WV today!

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I would agree with that in the earlier marks with the shorter cowlings and elliptical wings but that right there is BEAST mode.

Gotta agree with Ink on that, except to me the 109s are the ones that just look nastiest.  All business, lumpy.  They look like nothing but a war machine.

I agree it is a beast... :aok

but it looks so friggen beautiful....I just see elegance looking at the Spitfire's

The most beastly looking WW2 plane for me would be the P40 flying Tigers

The Spitfire shows the elegance and grace of its Royal bearing.

The 190 is working class. I saw one doing over time in the salt mine yesterday.

That 190 is powered by an R-2800... More power than the BMW radial...

I thought it was one of those Flügwerk 190's with the Soviet engine.

That could be the case. Rudy Frasca's 190 runs an R-2800...
