winning graciously
« on: September 06, 2015, 03:09:21 PM »
Some people haven't figured it out.

Here I am, all alone (in a P-40C, mind you) in enemy territory and got attacked by Ben Affleck's love child in a 152.  After a half dozen weak "Hail Mary" passes, a P-51 comes in to tag team but ends up augering.  Eventually, the 152 finally lands one from the tard chucker and proceeds in an unprovoked attack on my person:

Love the abrupt end to the conversation.  <crickets>  :)

How about losing graciously? All you had to do is enjoy the fact that you got a fight and ignore his first PM...but then I guess there wouldn't have been any reason to post the drama here on the BBS...

If he hadn't been so rude to send that PM, I wouldn't have felt the need.  Justice has been served.  Besides, this board needs the drama.

The community has decreased in size but sadly this kind of attitude is on the rise. For some, showing any class is a wasted effort. As one player told me, "I don't care about class, I'm here to make myself happy." This came from the same group that told me in an event, "We are here to get kills, don't get in our way."

As I said recently, any one can learn the game and improve but you can't teach someone good character.

Well said.

Too many brainless dolts playing these days who care nothing about making the game better for everyone.
