I wish for the Fiat G. 55 and the Re 2005 please. :old:

It would be nice to have a few a little more depth in the Italian plane set. I'd also like to see:
A-36
Ki-44
Beaufighter

You can love it or you can hate it but, it's got a whirly 100Oct smelling wind with a touch of morning ale fart until the cordite cuts in.

Just remember Waffle, use the new Hurri gunsight in it like it should be in the spit MkI.

F6f-5N , 2 20 mm's and 4 50's .

N = Night Fighter. We have no night. So basically you're just asking to be able to put 20mm on a poorer-performing (the radome would add significant drag and weight) F6F.

Anyway:

F4F-3 (4-gun F4F-4 is an FM-1. F4F-3 had completely different performance characteristics)
Ki-45
Ki-100
Ki-44
SB2C
TBD
Beaufighter
B-25J
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Obviously N= night but we had night at one time . But everyone asks P61's and its the same deal. Some F6f-5n's were used during the day , some had rocket rails and carried out bombing mission's according to some of these pic's.

If the -N model was introduced, it would cause the existing Hellcat to become a hanger queen.  People will forgo the regular Hellcat for the cannon Hellcat.

When the AN/APS-6 radar was added to the F6F-3N, it was feared that the weight (250lbs.) and size would have a serious negative effect on flight performance and speed.  Fortunately, those fears didn't come to pass as it was found that the AN/APS-6 radar didn't negatively effect maneuverability and only cut the top speed by around 20mph.

How is that different from the 3 guns La7?

THAT on the other hand will make it a hangar queen.
OK, it will be the new carrier JABO if bombs were allowed on it.

Unlike the La7, it would require an additional plane model, not just a different guns package selection in the hanger.  I would also venture that if we were able to see the metrics, it would show that the majority take the the 3 cannon package.

Yes, the F6F-5N was able to carry ordnance, though not sure if limited to 3 HVAR rockets instead of 4 because of the radar on the wing.
